Portland ADU Homes

Housing in Portland is definitely in demand, and the city is addressing that by allowing homes to have Accessory Dwelling Units (ADU's). An ADU is a separate fully-functional dwelling within the same structure and lot as the main house. Many ADU's in Portland are found on the first floor with a two-story house built above, or over a garage. An ADU needs to have its own separate entrance along with a fully-functioning kitchen with a stove and oven, and a full bath. The homeonwer can lease the ADU out on an annual lease or as a nightly rental on AirBNB to generate income. ADU's have also become more popular as more multigenerational families are living together. All the homes for sale listed below have indicated that they include an ADU. If you see one you'd like to see in person please inquire or contact us and we'll arrange a tour, or contact us anytime with questions about buying a home with an ADU.
